Smooth VNC Control
- Responsive pointer feedback — local cursor motion stays fluid while remote framebuffer updates continue at a paced rate
- Standard server compatibility — connect to RFB/VNC servers on Windows, macOS, Linux, and compatible LAN devices
- Password or no password — submit a blank password when the server explicitly allows No Authentication, or use standard VNC password authentication
- Reconnect — recover from temporary network interruptions without opening competing sessions
- Flexible viewing — use fit, native, or percentage scaling with direct-pointer or trackpad-style input
Connections and Discovery
- Save host addresses, optional usernames, groups, and Wake-on-LAN details
- Discover advertised VNC and RDP services with mDNS/Bonjour
- Scan the local subnet for common VNC and RDP ports
- Use tabbed sessions and desktop floating panels
- View frame rate, round-trip latency, and transferred-byte statistics
- Use optional SSH tunnelling for VNC connections
Input and Display
- Direct-pointer and trackpad-style input
- Touch gestures, scrolling, zoom, click-and-drag, and right-click
- Extended keyboard controls, with Unicode input on supported VNC and mobile RDP paths
- Dark and light themes with configurable accent colors
Availability and Privacy
- QuickRemote connects directly to endpoints you choose; no QuickRemote relay account is required
- Saved credentials use operating-system secure storage
- An optional device-authentication lock protects access to saved connections
- LAN discovery remains on the local network segment
- The remote computer must run a compatible VNC server, macOS Screen Sharing, or Windows Remote Desktop service
