Introduction
These Terms of Use govern your use of QuickLayout — Safe macOS Window Layouts (“the App”). By using the App, you agree to these terms and our General Terms of Use.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for lawful personal or commercial purposes, subject to these terms and the terms of the platform or purchase provider from which you obtained it.
Free Features
After the standard seven-day trial, the complete functional feature set remains available in Free, including:
- Save Current: Capture selected app windows as private schematic layouts without taking screenshots.
- Preview before Apply: Inspect moves, resizes, launches, skips, display changes, and unsupported windows.
- Transactional Undo: Save the affected window state before every arrangement and restore only what QuickLayout changed.
- Menu Bar and shortcuts: Reach Save, Layout Chooser, favorites, recent layouts, Gather, Grid, Undo, automation, and Settings.
- Gather and Grid: Recover off-screen windows or place the frontmost window into a chosen display region.
- Capability honesty: Show Accessibility, full-screen, Spaces, Stage Manager, tabs, and per-window limitations explicitly.
Free may display mobile advertising and a daily desktop support reminder. No functional capability is removed solely because the trial ended.
QuickLayout Pro Subscription
QuickLayout Pro Yearly is an auto-renewable subscription that removes mobile ads and desktop reminders:
- Subscription period: 1 year
- Price: $1.99 USD per year (or the equivalent price shown by your store or purchase provider)
- Auto-renewal: the subscription renews unless cancelled before the provider's stated renewal deadline
- Payment: your store or purchase-provider account is charged when you confirm the purchase
QuickLayout Pro Lifetime
QuickLayout Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase:
- Price: $6.99 USD (or the equivalent price shown by your store or purchase provider)
- One payment removes mobile ads and desktop reminders for the lifetime of the supported product
- No recurring charge
Pro Features
- No mobile banner or interstitial advertising where advertising applies
- No daily desktop support reminder
- Support for continued QuickLayout development
Pro does not unlock a separate functional feature tier. App capabilities remain subject to platform, hardware, model, provider, permission, file-format, and third-party-service support.
Managing Your Subscription
macOS
- Open QuickLayout Settings and choose License or Upgrade.
- Open the verified checkout or subscription-management page.
- Use the purchase provider's cancellation or recovery controls.
- Return to the App and refresh or recover the license.
Android
QuickLayout is a macOS-only product and is not offered on Android.
Refund Policy
Purchases and refunds are processed by the verified checkout or license provider shown at purchase. Refund eligibility follows that provider's displayed policy. We cannot issue a provider refund outside its process.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, infringing, or unauthorized activity. Use QuickLayout only on Macs and application windows you are authorized to control.
Data and Privacy
QuickLayout reads window metadata and frames, not screenshots or document contents.
Layouts use private schematic rectangles and app labels.
Accessibility is requested only for window capture and arrangement.
Direct distribution uses signed, notarized releases and verified update metadata.

Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. macOS, application, display, full-screen, Spaces, Stage Manager, and Accessibility behavior can limit or change window restoration.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. The revision date on this page identifies the current version.
General Terms
These terms are subject to our General Terms of Use. If a mandatory platform or provider term conflicts with these terms, that mandatory term controls to the extent required.
