QuickTrack User Guide
QuickTrack lets you build a song one track at a time with MIDI, drums, recordings, effects, local analysis, and reviewable assistance.
Getting Started
- Create a project from Blank, Songwriting, Beat Making, Podcast Jingle, or BGM for Video.
- Add Instrument, Drum, or Audio tracks and create or import clips.
- Edit notes, steps, takes, timing, effects, and automation.
- Balance the Mixer and review any AI, stem, mix, or mastering proposal before Apply.
- Save .qtrack, then export a master, compressed file, stems, MIDI, or seamless loop.
Tip: Record with conservative input gain and keep the Original take even after comping.

Compose, Record, Mix, Review
QuickTrack keeps AI and DSP suggestions reviewable, preserves recording Originals, and uses the same project graph for playback and verified offline render.
- Arrange and edit: Move, trim, split, duplicate, quantize, loop, and organize MIDI and audio clips.
- Instruments and drums: Play built-in instruments, edit notes in Piano Roll, and program beats in the Step Sequencer.
- Recording and takes: Record audio or MIDI while preserving every Original take as a separate file.
- Mixer and effects: Balance levels, pan, sends, inserts, automation, metering, and master limiting.
- Review-only AI: Song Starter, chords, beats, humming, lyrics, mix, mastering, and stem proposals wait in Review Inbox.
- Flexible export: Create master mixes, compressed files, aligned stems, MIDI, and seamless BGM loops.
Note: Protect hearing and equipment: monitor at safe levels, prevent feedback, and verify routing before recording or playback.
Settings
Open Settings to review the following app-specific controls:
- Audio input/output, buffer, latency, MIDI devices, and recording behavior
- Project media, archive, cache, model, and storage preferences
- AI, MCP, Agent Memory, privacy, and review controls
- Keyboard shortcuts, appearance, export, metronome, and accessibility
Trial, Free, and Pro use the same functional feature set. Pro removes mobile ads and the daily desktop support reminder.
Keyboard Shortcuts
On Apple platforms, use Command where the app maps a displayed Ctrl shortcut to the platform primary modifier. The in-app shortcut page remains authoritative.

Tips & Tricks
Record with conservative input gain and keep the Original take even after comping.
Use quantize as an intentional edit and listen before committing strong timing changes.
A/B mix and mastering proposals and inspect the parameter diff before Apply.
Use seamless BGM Loop when the output will continue into QuickStudio or QuickVideo.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to check |

| Recording has no signal | Arm the correct track, select the input device, check permission, gain, monitoring, and sample rate. |
| Playback crackles | Increase the audio buffer, reduce expensive effects, or freeze/render demanding work. |
| A stem proposal is unavailable | Verify the local model, license, free space, and supported source format. |
| Export cannot verify | Check disk space, codec availability, project media, and the independent output validation result. |
Privacy
- Pitch detection and stem separation run locally with reviewed downloadable models.
- Audio is not uploaded for local analysis.
- MCP access uses authentication, a redacted project snapshot, and proposal-only actions.
- Recordings, projects, and exports stay in user-controlled storage.
