Introduction
These Terms of Use govern your use of CursorSpot — Cursor Spotlight (“the App”). By using the App, you agree to these terms and our General Terms of Use.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or commercial purposes, subject to these terms and the rules of the store or distribution channel from which you obtained it. Platform capabilities may differ between the sandboxed Mac App Store edition, a separately distributed Full macOS edition, and Windows.
Free Features
The complete functional feature set remains available on the Free plan, including:
- Ring, solid, and crosshair cursor markers
- Glow, blink, trail, idle fade, coordinates, and Highlight
- Up to nine presets and nine saved jump positions
- Supported global triggers and menu bar/system tray controls
- Startup, multi-display, visibility, accessibility, and recovery settings
- Preset and full-settings import/export, migration review, diagnostics, and local logs
CursorSpot Pro Subscription
CursorSpot Pro is an auto-renewable annual subscription:
- Subscription period: 1 year
- Price: $0.99 USD per year (or the local price shown by your store)
- Auto-renewal: The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Payment: Your store account is charged when the purchase is confirmed
CursorSpot Pro Lifetime
You may alternatively purchase Pro as a one-time lifetime purchase:
- Price: $4.99 USD (or the local price shown by your store)
- One payment for permanent Pro status for the purchased platform account, subject to store availability
- No recurring charge
Pro Features
Pro does not unlock a hidden pointer feature. Pro benefits are:
- Removal of periodic desktop upgrade reminders
- Direct support for continued development and platform maintenance
Managing Your Subscription
iOS / macOS
- Open the Settings app or App Store account settings on your Mac.
- Select your Apple Account, then Subscriptions.
- Select CursorSpot Pro and choose the available management or cancellation option.
Android
CursorSpot is not currently distributed for Android, so there is no Google Play subscription to manage.
Windows
If a subscription is offered through Microsoft Store, manage it from the Services & subscriptions page of the Microsoft account used for purchase.
Refund Policy
Purchases are processed by the applicable platform store. Refund eligibility and processing are controlled by that store, and we cannot issue a store refund directly.

Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App for unlawful activity, to interfere with platform security or secure input, to bypass purchase or permission controls, or to misrepresent the overlay as an operating-system or security indicator.
Data and Privacy
CursorSpot stores settings, explicitly saved jump positions, and diagnostics locally. It does not include analytics, cloud accounts, advertising, screen-content collection, or automatic diagnostic upload. Files leave the App only when you explicitly export or share them. Platform purchase services may process data under their own policies. See our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of availability, compatibility, fitness, or uninterrupted operation. Operating systems, app editions, permissions, shortcut conflicts, secure fields, remote sessions, capture tools, and exclusive full-screen software may restrict overlays, triggers, cursor movement, or capture exclusion. CursorSpot does not click, type, scroll, drag, or bypass those restrictions. You remain responsible for verifying behavior before a presentation or accessibility-critical workflow and for keeping exported files safe.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
