Save and restore your entire desktop window layout with one click. Never rearrange windows again after a restart or monitor change.
Getting Started
- Arrange your windows the way you like
- Click Save (or press Ctrl + Cmd + S) to capture the layout
- A digest screenshot and formation entry appear in the history
- Click Restore (or press Ctrl + Cmd + R) to restore the latest formation
How It Works
Save
- Captures all visible window positions, sizes, app names, and window titles
- Generates a digest screenshot of your full desktop
- Saved to the history list (up to 50 entries)
Restore
Uses a 4-stage matching algorithm to find the correct windows:
- Exact match: app + title + window ID
- App + title match
- App + window ID match
- Title similarity scoring
- Positions and sizes are applied via the Accessibility API
- Missing apps are automatically launched
